Remember Our Anonymous Donor?

Some of you may remember our anonymous donor from last November and December. Well, we hadn't thought about this mystery for a while...until this past Monday. In the mail was another letter from our "angel" with a sweet note instructing us to use the enclosed money for a nice dinner before Joel comes home. We were so touched by this thoughtfulness! What a great idea to enjoy a last nice meal before Joel is with us. So we decided on one of our favorite places to eat that we don't frequent often because it's a little pricey...

This restaurant is so fun (and yummy!). We went last night and enjoyed a lesirely, relaxed meal and took a break from our "to-do lists." We started with a Wisconsin Trio Cheese fondue with bread and veggies to dip, then enjoyed a main course of meats, fish, veggies, and ravioli cooked in a wine sauce. We finished with chocolate s'mores fondue with marshmallows, brownies, fruit, rice krispies treats, and cheesecake to dip. Yum! It was so delicious, and even more so because of the reason behind our dinner. It is such a blessing to have people that care for us in our lives. It brings tears to my eyes when I think of not only this gesture, but of all the words of encouragement, excitement, and support that we have received from so many. Joel is coming home to lots of wonderful people and we are so grateful!

Oh, and by the way, this Nancy Drew thinks she's figured out who the donor is!
