Joel had a very fun time celebrating his birthday this year. It was neat to see Joel's excitement in the days leading up to his birthday and the frequently asked question, "Is it my birthday?" We found a new family fun place near our house a couple months ago, and since Joel loved it, we decided to have his party there. They had a bounce room, a party room, and an arcade with games and prizes. We chose a race car theme, invited Joel's little friends, and had a great time!
Of course, there was lots of bouncing going on!
The slide was a very big attraction.
The always amusing group photo. Do you see how nicely Joel is sitting? If you saw what happened moments before, you too would be amazed.
After we wore the kids out with bouncing, it was time for pizza. And more importantly, cupcakes.
We gave each child a few tokens to play games after the party. I think the best part was getting to pick out prizes with the tickets they won.
We know that many of our friends drove quite a ways from home to celebrate with Joel, and for that we are so thankful. It meant so much to see our son surrounded by people who care about him. Three is such a fun age, and we're glad that we could celebrate Joel in such a fun way!

joel's party was awesome! and my kid was super tired afterward which means it was kinda a party for me too! hee! happy birthday joel! you are one sweet and awesome little boy, we are so thankful and blessed that you and cohen are friends!

This looks like an AWESOME party! And yet again I think, "I want to move!" :-) And you know it was a success when you see all the smiles on the kids faces...

Happy belated birthday to one cute, sweet little 3 year old! The party was a great idea - wish we could have come too! Bouncy houses are the BEST. It looks like everyone was having a super fun time! As always, I adore the group shots. Soooo, what happened right before? Now I'm curious ...
