A Little Girl's Dream

30 years ago today, at 7:52 AM, a little girl was born to two very happy people. This girl was doted on by her parents and loved more than anything in the world. She always wanted to love a child as much as her parents loved her, and dreamt about the day she would be a mother. She took very good care of her baby dolls, putting them to sleep in a cradle, changing their diapers and clothes, and feeding them. She grew up and married her true love, and tried very hard to become a mother like she had always wanted. She was very sad when it seemed that her dream wouldn't come true. But God spoke to her and her husband and told them that she would be a mother, just in a different way. And so, as this girl celebrates her 30th birthday, she is hoping and praying that she is a mother, that her baby has already been born across the world, six thousand miles away.
